According to IGN, Mortal Kombat II will be released to the Playstation Network this Thursday (March 15th) for the price of $4.99..which most of you probably knew. What a classic game. Even better, we can battle over the internet. Who's in? If you plan on purchasing, submit your gamer ID/tag.

my only problem with this, is it does not fit the aspect ratio. they cut a border around it like qbert did. If they dont do that to this game I will pick it up.

i think we'll be seeing the crazy border around most of these old school games released. unless they somehow figure out a way to tweak the games that dont really use the top and bottom portions of the screens, and just cut them off.

I will more than likely be going after MK2, and I cant wait. Glad there is finally a date, and glad that its so soon.

Now they just need to start converting more PSP games like they did with Tekken

So is this for sure, online? What about 1080p or at least 720p? I will most likely pick this up; I use to spend hours in the arcades playing all walks of life and sending them back to the coin machine for more quarters.

We're also getting Joust, Rampage World Tour, couple of other games from Midway, ALL ONLINE MULTIPLAYER ENABLED!!!!!

Hopefully it will soon. Maybe they are saving everything for the update?

Hopefully we get some news one when exactly we will get this soon.

This came out yesterday! I got it and played online a few times. Got my ass kicked everytime.

I really wish you could talk to your opponent though. I haven't tried yet, anyone know if you can?

I don't think you can talk at all.

I bought it and love it.

Amon37 is my ID and I usually play it from around 8:00-9:30pm MST on most weeknights.
