I agree. It will certainly look better than the DVD and at least I won't have to watch the picture boxed in. I'm crossing my fingers it shows up at Best Buy and for a decent price.

I was not expecting the film to look all that great either and its worth the upgrade to have the film in Anamorphic widescreen. Now I hope that Disney does a better job on the Transfer for one of my most anicipated blu-ray titles Hocus Pocus. I know that will be worth the upgrade as well just because the DVD is non anamorphic

I am going to wait until this hits $9.99 before I pull the trigger on a blind buy.

It's so worth it, even at $14. I woulda paid more for it if I had to. It's that funny

I agree it's worth $14, but I don't want to pay $14. Has anyone found this at Walmart for cheaper?

Same here. From what I remember, this was a fun little comedy, but it's also a catalog title, so I'm reluctant to spend more than $10 as well. Here's hoping that this find its way to the $7.99 bin eventually.

Stuff usually is cheaper later on down the line. That's if you can wait or not. Whether it be on sale or a cheap used copy.

For a catalog title, as long as it doesn't go out-of-stock, I can wait an eternity for the right price.

Yeah, but it be kinda silly to put something out and then discontinue it. What are they going to put it in the Disney vault next to his frozen head?

This is my standpoint on 99% of catalog titles, especially if I own it on DVD and there are no new features...

I'd snap it up if it was $12.99 like Adventures in Babysitting because I love the movie so much -- I recognize it's not a huge price difference, but it shouldn't be priced so high to begin with. My question: do these Buena Vista BDs ever go down in price? Disney's been releasing a wave of them.

Don't know why BB is charging $20 for this one, when the others are on sale for $12.99

It seems the ones not sold in stores are a bit more then others. Look at the movie Detention, not sold in stores and they are asking $29.99 for it.

I guess they figure people will order from amazon for titles not stocked in their stores. (which I did) It is a shame they aren't stocking the title, esp since the movie grew from word of mouth and rentals more than anything. Great fun film.

In case it's any indicator, I've been watching The Rocketeer for a while and it rarely seems to change in price (on Amazon anyway).
