Default New release tv ads

I am not implying anything here but i thought it was interesting that in the last few weeks on the tv ads for new releases.
They use to say comming on DVD, HDdvd and blu ray. or whichever next gen disk it was.

Now, the adds are saying either
DVD and Blu Ray
or they simply say
DVD and high definition.

I have not heard mention HdDvd in quite a few weeks.

Just thought it interesting that it is changing to High definition instead of a particular format.

This might simply be for clarity's sake, as a friend of mine mistakenly bought The Departed on regular DVD because the commercial said, "out now for DVD and HD-DVD." He is going to sell it to someone else and get the BR.
