Default Surge Protectors

My wife and I are in need of a new surge protector. The one we have is now too small for our home theater system.

I'm not sure which direction to go, but we need one with at least ten plugs. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be very appreciative.

Take a look at the Belkin PureAV line. I currently have a PF 30, but that only has 8 outlets. The PF60 has 13 outlets that you can plug into.

You can take a look at it here!

I have the Belkin PF60 and I love it. Saved me about a month ago during a bad thunderstorm.

There's an entire sticky thread at the top of the forum you posted this in that should explain everything you've wanted to know about surge protection:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=73512

Bottom line: Stay away from the MOV devices, as they are not the protection they claim.
