Hello and welcome 7Miles to our little HT club here on BR.com. You have created a really cool looking space and should be a great place to hang out in. So where's my invite?
[Show spoiler]or was that too forward?

For those of us that can spell....

Very nice home theater you have there! You ever thought about cleaning up the wired mess you have behind the stand? With all the work done the wire mess seems like an eye sore given how great everything else looks.

LOL.....yes wire management is at the top of the list to do. I had actually started a thread this morning in Home Theater General Discussion. I was directed to a on going wire management thread.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=109913

Some really good stuff in that thread....plenty of ideas and inspiration

In all fairness I have started my wire management in my cable, antenna, internet cabinet........see photos below

Thanks for the compliments

I just wish I still had my first turntable my pops bought me. It was a Garrard idler drive changer . I still have the first transistor radio he gave me for my 7th birthday though

I'm also considering getting back into R2R machines

Funny you should mention R2R. I have been eye balling some local tape machines myself. Had an one back in the day and I used to record hours of music to listen to uninterrupted, a retro Ipod sort of.

I picked up a great Pioneer RT-901 awhile back...Very, very sweet machine. Hadn't messed with a R2R for years. I have no regrets getting back into it. Be warned it is expensive. Just seem to suck the cash out of the old wallet. But I love it.

Isn't that the way it usually works. You have to pay to play.

Thumbs up

Hey Buddy - I'm sure the wire management will top off an already Exceptional HT. Now, when you get the REAR Speakers & 2nd Sub, THEN, it'll be PERFECTION. 7.2 is what it's All about my friend.

For $2000 or so, (per an earlier post), you can find some VERY Nice PJ's to go with that screen. BTW, what Size is that puppy? 90, 96, 100+ " ?

I know these have nothing to do with my theater. But the are my newest addition to my vintage 2 channel setup. Best $75 I sent in a long time.

HPM-900 find of the day for me anyways

I picked these dudes up off of CL. I think I did ok for $75. They where posted last night at 9:30. I gave sent the guy a email this morning around 8:00 a.m.

He got back to, said he had tons of emails on them, but I was the first with a number to get a hold of me. So they could be mine if I wanted them.

The guy was the original owner. Sent them out 10 to 12 years ago to get the woofer re foamed. Used them for about 6 months after that. Then put them in a back room in his basement. They set in the same spot tell yesterday when it moved them for pictures.

They have soaked up some moister from the cement floor. Some swelling of the particle board. You can see it in the picture below. But I tell you for the money I think I did alright.
