What did you think of the movie Michael Clayton? Rate it from 1-4 stars. I thought it was a great movie, but not one I'd want to watch more than twice.

Anyway, I rated it 4/5 on a 5-star rating system which corresponds to 3.2/4 :P

(Guess I have a little bit of time to waste... Hey it's friday, I already did more hours that I'm supposed too by somehow I can't go...)

Anyway it's a good movie! But I guess action junkies will get bored... Oh well, TGIF!

I thought the acting was very good and the story compelling, but i agree that the pacing and cut of the film left something to be desired. There are so many movies now that start at the end and go back to the beginning that it can't always work and in this case it didn't. That's why I only gave it 3 stars, it alienated the audience from the film with the way it opened.

Same here.

I was watching one reviewer talk about the movie. He said that it might surprise people that this movie was not based on a book because it seems like an excellent John Grisham adaptation (which I agree with).

I'd give it 4 stars, but that's me being very generous. I've watched this movie about 3-4 times on video and will say that Clooney is solid. Taking into consideration the plot and character-- and it helps if you know a little bit of this ahead of time-- it's quite enjoyable watching Michael solve other peoples' problems while trying to solve his own. Here's a guy who would have had a great career as a prosecuting attorney if he didn't go for the money instead.
