Default Upscaling Chip in the Denon DVD-2500BTCI?

I have not been able to uncover any definitve evidence of what SD-DVD upscaler that Denon has incorporated into their new DVD-2500BTCI transport. I've heard rumors that it uses the same 10-bit Realta chip as its big brother, the DVD-3800BDCI, but I haven't been able to verify these claims. Can anyone enlighten me?

This unit is a virtual clone of the Panasonic BD-30.
It uses the same video chip made by Panasonic.
(strange how many diss the Panny's SD performance but Denon seems to think it is fine for their products. )
The realta is only in the 3800.

Someone on another forum has compared the new Denon 2500 to the older non-BD universal Denon 3910. He said it was great at BDs but lacked in comparison for dvd and cd playback to the older Denon. I think Denon is really aiming their 3800 BD player to be their current reference player. As someone else said, the 2500 does not have the Realta chip. That is the coming 3800.
