Sort of. Compare this to the one on DVD Talk and they're completely different, no doubt tainted by their respective feelings of the film itself. I'm a fan of the movie, so I'll pick it up, but this goes to show you how out of touch some reviews are.

What are you talking about? The HighDefDigest review gave the movie 4.5/5 and so did the DVDTalk review.

Im glad Im not the only one who wasn't sure what he was trying to say. As far as being 'tainted' by our thoughts and feelings about the film... I actually refused to watch it for the longest time. My wife loved it and she usually only loves chick flicks so I went into this film with a negative bias and low and behold, I thought it was amazing. I actually overcame a bias years ago when watching that film *shrugs*

I was totally joking! I would agree with the films you have listed...I'd also add to that list: The 'burbs. Although it's not on BD yet.
My copy just arrive a short while ago! Man I'm so backlogged on BD's right now! I need the wife to to take the little boy to her parents house for the weekend, so I can get caught up!
