Cameron: I’m with you, Justin. Andy Fischer, who works with me running Vinyl Films, is digging into the vaults at Warner Brothers to see where the footage resides. We have all the concert footage – including KILLER stuff on Alice in Chains – but the outtake scenes themselves are waiting to be discovered. Some of Chris Cornell’s unreleased score will be in PJ20 – which is great because he’s a natural scoring artist and did GREAT stuff for the movie that was never used.

We are still hoping. We obviously missed the 20th anniversary, but are hoping next year. Stay tuned.

Excellent news; Singles is a truly great film. Like the Pacific Northwest setting (a place I've always wanted to live, but never have), the early '90's grunge/progressive rock soundtrack, and storyline. I myself was in my early 20's when this film was released, so could really relate.

Also agree. Specifically, Drown was the first song/single I ever heard by SP (I believe it was on the radio), and that made me a fan of the group. Still can't believe how long Drown is (8+ minutes) - this is definitely one of the longest pop/rock songs ever. In any case, great introduction to SP.....I remember that this song was only available on CD on the Singles soundtrack for years, at least until SP's first "Best of" compilation in 2001....

I was in college when Singles came out, and all of the music on this soundtrack reminds me heavily of those days, since I was exclusively listening to grunge/progressive rock during that time. I was living in the D.C. area then, and one of the local radio stations (WHFS - 99.1) was playing a lot of this type of music...
