Since blu-ray is the superior format officially, I wonder if it'll be a good idea to put Planet Terror on blu even though Robert Rodriguez used a different type of film to make it look like the old days.

Don't mean to change the subject or anything but I've always been wondering if Team America: World Police will be on blu one day

I've read that the whole Grinehouse experience (both movies + trailers) is now on Starz on demand.

Planet Terror has a fake trailer, Death Proof doesnt. But Starz is going to have the full "Grindhouse" movie running all this month!! The actual theatrical version that was never released on dvd!! Including all fake trailers!! and in HD!!! Go Starz!!!!!!!!!!

Ah hell. Hopefully this means a Grindhouse announcement is coming. Congrats to Starz HD subscribers, I am jealous.

That was all done in post. There is a perfectly clean HD version (from the Genesis HD camera) sitting on a hard drive in Rodriguez's basement that the public will never see. Anyway it should still look good as those scratches and scuffs and burn marks are all part of the detail that makes up this film much like the scratches and watermarks on Surf's Up shows off the detail Blu-ray is capable of.

I hope we get the full Grindhouse experience on Blu-ray. I won't buy these seperately. I saw them together in the theatre, I want that experience for home.

"Planet Terror" was awesome, as was the first half of "Death Proof"---second half kinda iffy, but still loved it!!! Great movies!!!
