yuup...I am saying that the movie seems to be copying Apocalypto from what I've seen....

it's what life was like back then and what they did for survival...

There are three reviews over on aint-it-cool-news.com for this and they are pretty harsh on it. I had high hopes for the movie, but now I'm not sure. If the Hulk trailer is indeed there, I'll go see it. I just hate getting my hopes up for summer event movies to end up seeing trash.

If you're going to watch 10,000 B.C. at this Friday, I suggest you to buy Horton's selected DVD for $9.99 at Circuit City or then get you a free ticket instantly or pricematch at Best Buy to get a Free Movie Ticket and a Plush Toy. You don't have to watch Horton anyway.

Again, it's not really as it is largely a fantasy.

So maybe we'll see some Nazi atrocities blamed on Cavemen this time?

Well, under the "Movie and TV Discussion" sub-header, the description is as follows:

General discussion of movies and TV shows, not directly related to a Blu-ray release.

So, why would this require relation to Blu-Ray?

Aren't most movies fantasy, though? They're just someone's interpretation/thoughts put on display for the world....

..no...

it's a story...

that's like when people say that Batman Begins is a realistic approach...but then other people point out all the stuff that happened in the movie that couldn't happen in RL

THAT'S NOT THE POINT...

the point is that it's a story based on how life was back then...and if they didn't add in fantasy aspects...then it wouldn't be nearly as entertaining..

and if you don't get that....."oh boy"....

pretty much my point...

most storytellers throw in fabrications because it helps the story...and makes it more interesting..

Okay, you clearly missed my point, then: 99.9% of this movie is a giant fantasy yarn so if they were trying to at least to a degree portray early man's day-to-day survival with any amount of accuracy (or at least as accurate as they could be since we obviously can only ever know so much about those days), they failed spectacularly.

Not every movie has fantastical/impossible elements in it as many are very much based in the subjective reality we all inhabit (I would think that'd be obvious but apparently not to some here which is... well, scary).

Well, we know it's not real... they didn't have video cameras in 10,000 BC

I know. I'm an idiot. Smile, folks.
