I thought it was a good (albeit not great) movie. But the CGI and action scenes were pretty good so it would make a nice blu title in my opinion

So, Blu-Ray is only good for empty, vacuous snooze-fests that are only an excuse for CGI?

Sorry, I prefer substance and a discernable plot.

I liked the movie. It entertained, that's what it was supposed to do. I'd buy it on blu.

Yeah, just being entertaining isn't important anymore.

A film has to be intellectually stimulating or life changing to be good I guess. It's also "cool" to not like big budget and big name movies these days.

I can't wait to see all of the negative reviews for Indy 4, Dark Knight, etc.

I would love to see the Blu collections of some of these wannabe critics here.

Exactly my point, it was enjoyable, I'm not saying it's gonna win any Oscars, and some horrid diologue at the beginning made me think it was going to be crap, but it was quick paced and very entertaining. Also great visuals. Oh and when i said sick i meant it in the good way.

These movies take us away from boredom. They take us to a place where alien invasions, transforming robots, and masive shootouts can exsist. A place where anything could be possible. Critics now want everything to be realistic and life changing. I don't go to theaters to be bored. I go to theaters to be entertained.

I try to cover all the bases with my taste in movies...these types of movies have their place...even if there is poor acting..

Why one earth does it matter that somebody didn't like the movie? Nobody in this thread claiming to be a wannabe movie critic. We're simply voicing our opinions on the film... and we're saying that 10,000 B.C. is a bad movie. If it was a good movie, then all the power to you. A lot of the statements in your post are quite funny.

You have to be joking, right?

This is one of the worst movies ever.

Now, to stay in line with your thread, great on blu ray?

For me, a movie is great cause of picture and sound. But, there has to be sequences, particularly action, that can really demonstrate these to facets.
Pop the disc in to watch track whatever # to see a great car chase, shoot out, etc.

This movie was a play- it had an opening, middle, and closing act of action.
And, they were short and uneventful- you have to be engaged in what was going on. And, while the commercials show it as some epic history type piece with all these dinosaurs and prehistoric stuff, all you get in the trailer is all you get in the movie.

It is a love story- guy chases after a girl the whole movie. Nothing I would call memorable or worth watching again, let alone repetitively on BRD.

Sorry- I just dont see it.

I didn't see the movie.

There are others here who imply only an idiot could enjoy movies such as this, ID4, etc. Read the thread in the Movies/TV section to see what I mean.

I don't care when someone doesn't like a movie, but insulting one's intelligence for liking a movie is pretty narrow minded.

I actually enjoyed this movie, but do agree that the special effects could've been better. Some of the darks scenes were horribly grainy. Did anyone else notice this???

I was excited when I saw the trailer but then I saw who the director was. This will be a rental for me.

WORD

In short critics = HATERS

10,000 BC will be awesome on Bluray High Def and I can't for it to come out. Hopefully it will be top quality Audio & Picture packed with substantial extras. By time I hope the BDA will have worked out all the kinks on BD-J, etc...so that it provides a good amount of bonus materia (for people who enjoy that type of stuff).
