all i have to say is holy wow! the other thing is -- now that Blu-ray has won, i can start putting more money towards Blu-ray games like Metal Gear, Grand Theft Auto, Uncharted, Socom, Gran Turismo 5, Teken 6, and Resistance 2!

Yeah, just got to 76 today...takes time. Right now though there really aren't too many I want that are out right now. So until Paramount and Universal jump in the game my collection wont grow that fast.

I can't imagine I'd say there is maybe a total of 90 Blu-rays I would even want total at the moment. We need Para and Uni to crank out quality releases. WarnerBros needs to start producing Blu-ray spec quality encodes and not this HD-DUD encode port crap. There are several movies I have not bought because the PQ sucks.

You do realize that is 100% opinion? So why even say it. Never heard that "Eye of the beholder" theory

I gotta bout 12-15 still sealed, would be alot more but sometimes I jsut get the nerve to open it, even though I dont watch it then. :P

I was watching a movie a day, but the recent addiction to COD4 has slowed that down It'll pick up again though, so I'm not worried.

ya right. lets take a poll on how many true movie lovers would buy some of the titles this guy probably has to get 200. I would say not over 100..

All im saying is i have enough money to buy 200 blu rays myself, but anyone with any sense wouldnt buy 100 movies that are lame just because they are on blu ray.

I got up to 130 and I realized that I didn't need all those movies. Sometimes I was just buying a BD just to get a new BD...then I realized that was what I was doing so now I have to either really talk myself out of getting a new movie or really talk myself into it. I want my collection to be all quality titles for me...not saying that yours isn't, but there aren't over 200 titles on BD that I would consider my quality titles. Great for you though.

I hit close to 50 or so, and those are all the movies out there I want now..... I did the same thing with standard DVDs..... only bought stuff I would be glad to say "yep, I got that" I didn't want someone to say... "hey have you ever seen that movie with Al Pacino, who creates some computer woman who people think is real..." and I would say... "errr.... yeah... it's called 'Simone', and I actually OWN that one"

haha! Not gonna happen!!!!! If I was collecting for shear numbers, I'd go load up on crappy $5 DVD titles that are everywhere, and try to eclipse 2,000 but I'm happy with the movies I have, I don't think there is anything out there I need, and new titles are being purchased on Blu-.

I rarely watch movies more than once unless i'm showing off the quality to someone.

i admit though, i bought premonition as a blind buy... dammit!!!
I also would have a bigger collection if more quality movies came out, but I would never buy Premonition or any Sandra B movie blind unless the "one" is in it.

How many of you guys enter your movies into your DVDspot watched file when you watch them? I do and I like having it there...I can see how many I've seen as well as when I watched them, with who I watched and where. I really like DVDspot.
