Default Svs 20-39 Pci

Believe it or not... my wife has said she wants to buy a sub for our system. (must be doing something right )

So I've been looking at subs around the $600 mark and quite fancy the svs 20-39 pci.

Anyone have this sub?

Could I do better for the same price?

Any opinions?

Due to the fact that we live above someone do you think we would be better off with a front-firing sub over the down firing or will it not make much difference?

Holeee ding dongs batman... great sub. It down-fires... doesn't make much of a difference at that frequency... everything will shake no matter where it fires. Down-firing is nice if you have kids... it's harder to poke the speaker ;-)

I highly recommend svs. I think the Plus model is $899 now??
