You may delete The Birds and Vertigo from the Swedish and Finnish list.
Both were supposed to be released in Finland and Sweden, but for some reason that never happened.

I figured I was a good person for the job because I'm a very organized (hooray, alphabetization!) yet intuitive-about-ease-of-use (non-crazy) collector and I visit the site every day. But yeah, once I figured it out, it was like "Are Sweden/Finland/Denmark releases all the same?" "Singapore/Malaysia/Indonesia?" "China/Hong Kong/Taiwan?" "Jumbo SteelBook or Metal Box?" "Yes, the SB is identical but does it have a separate EAN/UPC?" "Okay, this guy 'found one' in a store in Thailand, is that a Thai release?", etc.

And then, when I had done 90% of the updating, I got to Germany... yikes! What, do they give you a SteelBook free with every loaf of bread? Oh, those Germans, what with their fit and finish! I still have to add store exclusives and translations to the titles there. (I have 16 pages of notes to add titles to the database so you SB nuts can add 'em to your collection lists!) (Like me.)

Once I get it caught up, it'll be pretty easy to stay current, with help from all of you.

How often does Best Buy offer steelbooks for pre-orders? The only one I've ever done is Finding Nemo. I wish I would have done some others (like The Avengers). I don't see anything listed for Peter Pan...I thought they do one for most of the Disney releases.

EAN (European Article Number), also called UPC (Universal Product Code) or "bar code": the black lines with numbers underneath. That's one way that I can tell if a Blu-ray is an actual unique release for that country or just an import.

UK Skyfall and Taken 2 steels are no longer HMV exclusives since they showed up on Amazon.com.uk today for pre-order.

Never take any notice of amazon region info. Wait for confirmation from reliable places such as here or HDN or AVF.

I find two Skyfall Blu ASINs on amazon.co.uk:

B007REV4YI - a single disc which releases 12 February
B006X040NY - BD/DVD/digital copy, releasing 18 February.

Neither mentions SteelBook, though. The image for the first is box-like, but it's probably a slipcover.

Also two for Taken 2:

B001J1O848 - obviously the Amaray (plastic case).
B0083UI1P0 - another box image, guessing slipcover.

But HMV as a whole is on hold (bankruptcy?), so who knows...

Well, I'll be darned. That happens sometimes, or they're at the very end of the search results for "relevance"!

Taken 2 doesn't say exclusive, but I changed Skyfall. Perhaps Amazon is taking over the HMV ones.

Quick question... looking at the catalog on the Steelbook consumer site, I can't find one Steelbook that was originally made for the US; it looks like every US steelbook was just copied from another country's design. Has there been any steelbook made and sold originally, just for the US, and then later sold in other countries?
