EAN (European Article Number), also called UPC (Universal Product Code) or "bar code": the black lines with numbers underneath. That's one way that I can tell if a Blu-ray is an actual unique release for that country or just an import.

UK Skyfall and Taken 2 steels are no longer HMV exclusives since they showed up on Amazon.com.uk today for pre-order.

Skyfall is listed as region 2/B locked. This has me nervous to order.

Never take any notice of amazon region info. Wait for confirmation from reliable places such as here or HDN or AVF.

I find two Skyfall Blu ASINs on amazon.co.uk:

• B007REV4YI - a single disc which releases 12 February
• B006X040NY - BD/DVD/digital copy, releasing 18 February.

Neither mentions SteelBook, though. The image for the first is box-like, but it's probably a slipcover.

Also two for Taken 2:

• B001J1O848 - obviously the Amaray (plastic case).
• B0083UI1P0 - another box image, guessing slipcover.

But HMV as a whole is on hold (bankruptcy?), so who knows...
