Default 'Night at the Museum 3' - December 25, 2014

Quote:
Shawn Levy Returns to Direct NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3 for December 25, 2014 Release

Though the film has been rumored for quite some time, it appears as though Night at the Museum 3 is officially a go. The film has been scheduled for release on December 25, 2014, and Shawn Levy will be returning to the director’s chair while Ben Stiller reprises his lead role. Levy most recently helmed the Vince Vaughn/Owen Wilson comedy The Intership and is also attached to direct Stiller and Jonah Hill in the comedy Aloha, but with the Christmas 2014 release date imminent, it looks like Museum 3 is his next film. Here’s what he had to say about the story when Levy spoke with Steve last year:

Quote:
“It’s really funny, it’s very poignant, and it’s not just ‘Oh what museum are they going to this time?’ it’s a much meatier story than that.”
No other plot details are known at this time, but I assume we’ll hear more soon.

The guy in me wants to know what gorgeous woman they're going to use to follow-up Carla Gugino and Amy Adams.

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I actually enjoyed the first two movies. Probably more so because I really enjoy history. So it was kind of neat to see what they did with some of the history characters. Can't wait to see where they go with this next.

I really liked the first two. I actually saw the 2nd one (Battle of the Smithsonian) at night in the Air and Space Museum in D.C. so that was a pretty cool experience, especially since the movie takes place there too.

I love the first one. I don't think I've seen the second. Wouldn't mind a third.

these films also got people more interested in going to REAL MUSEUMS, I love going The Smithsonian in Washington DC when I have some free time to do so.

I went there twice in high school

Wasn't Transformers 2 also shot there? But then they go out a back door and suddenly they're in a desert somewhere?

Robin Williams in Talks for ‘Night at the Museum 3′

Briefly: The Night at the Museum movies have been basically a license to print money, so it shouldn’t be any surprise that actors are coming back for the third one. Night at the Museum 3 will put Ben Stiller back in the lead role as security guard Larry Daley, under the direction of Shawn Levy.

Now Robin Williams is in talks to reprise his role, too, as the wax dummy of President Teddy Roosevelt that is among the objects that come to life in the museum at night. In this case, however, the museum will be in London, so we don’t know what other characters and their actors will return for an easy paycheck.

I really liked the first two, in fact i'm watching the 2nd on on TV right now!
Looking forward to a third as long as Stiller and Wilson and Coogan and Williams are in it

Can't believe the first one came out back in 2006!

Part 3 could be set at a Wax Museum or something, or a Ripley's Believe It or Not museum.

As I'm friends with somebody in the film, and they shot some of it at my workplace I'm saying it's the best film of the year.

No matter what.
