I am a little biased I guess, because we spend a TON of money on Disney everything, but IME, this should come as no surprise.

Disney does EVERYTHING over the top. Their self-imposed standards on everything they do are always very high.

If you have ever been to Disney World, I think you will agree. It's one of the few places I can go and drop 4K and not feel fleeced.

I went to Target yesterday to snag a BOGO (replaced Ratatouille from DVD and snagged Casino Royale. Wanted 300. They were out.) I also picked up Enchanted. We'll probably watch it this weekend. I haven't seen the movie.

Too bad Disney didn't go beyond the call in The Little Mermaid DVD - that was one of the most dissapointing transfers I've seen from them, even 101 Dalmatians looks way better than that.

I checked Amazon... it doesn't look like DVE comes out on Blu until the 25th, but I do intend to order it.

I would suggest going easy on the hyperbole regarding "SELF-IMPOSED HIGH STANDARDS ON EVERYTHING THEY DO".

When you say EVERYTHING, you include EVERYTHING tied to Disney, including their ever recurring connection to lead tainted childrens products.

You know I have 2 small kids and I really appreciate Disney for what it is. However we have annual passes for Disneyland and every time I come out I feel like I got robbed. $3 for a chocolate chip cookie?

Cool! But don't wait for the disc....check your sharpness settings and, if they're anything except zero or near-zero, turn them down and see if this doesn't improve your PQ. Essentially, most sharpness controls do nothing but add noise to the image.

Thank you so much!

Your response got me thinking and as a result I **{{GASP}}** used the search engine and found the answer I was looking for!!

There was some lame automatic noise filter on that, oddly, added more noise to the picture... In any case, thanks to everyone!

I would recommend this movie to anyone. This along with Ratatouille were my favorite films of 2007. I know guys besides myself who took there girl to see it in the theater and ended up really liking it. After years of ironic, tongue in cheek fairytales(ie Shrek) it was nice to see a movie play it straight and it works because of Amy Adams. Her performance was one of the best on film in 2007. She made you believe in Giselle and truly believe in Giselle's transformation from animated princess to a flesh and blood person. A great movie that will become a classic for years to come.

Watched it with my wife and daughter last night.

They liked it, I could do without ever seeing it again. It wasn't bad, just not my kind of movie.

Bought the movie for Amy Adams... I'm a big fan of hers . Her performance was stellar... the movie itself was cute, watched several times with my old lady.

it's my favorite live action Disney movie by far. It's also in my top three Disney movies. Any Adams is amazing. It was HIGHLY entertaining and funny. I normally HATE Disney musicals, and Patrick's character was just like me.

Wink I just finished watching Enchanted

I just picked up this title today and watched it already. A great family feel good movie that looks and sounds great.

I am a Die Hard type of fan, but I enjoyed this fun movie.

By the way, this movie plays on my Samsung 1200.
