Default Signs / The Recruit Aspect ratio ???

Signs and the The Recruit just appeared on Amazon as a pre-order but what is with the aspect ratio. Both are listed as 1.33:1!

The original apect ratio of The Recruit was 1.78:1 and the original aspect ratio of Signs wass 1.85:1.

I really hope that Disney isn't going to start a rediculous trend of releasing full screen versions on Blu.

For now, I'm holding out hope that this is simply a typo...it better be!

Coming from Amazon, not too surprising. they still list DD 5.1 as "AC3" !

Yeah, don't ever trust details on Amazon's page. Two weeks ago I submitted information trying to correct the details on the movie "Reds" on Blu-ray. I changed four different things, including aspect ratio and audio options, none of them have been corrected.

Thats more than likely the case. What a boring job that would be for creative people. Writing for Amazon.

Well now that the strike is over, they should update those listings.

Actually, the OAR for The Recruit is 2.35:1. This will be the first time it's been released in its OAR.
