I am about to purchase the white Dualshock 3 online from play-asia. Will it work fine with my black PS3 60 gig here in the U.S?

Yes all dualshock 3 controllers work with all PS3's . i bought mine from ebay and it was shipped from japan took 2 weeks to get but worth it .

Hey, I just got my two white controllers today - i bought them at japan video games, as they ship to europe and go around customs :P
Anywho they work quite flawlessly and are worth every cent - the rumble and the extra weight is just what i needed

wait um but when you do get the controllers will the vibrate functions of the controller take effect right away or is this already in effect or is there an update waiting please explain??

Some games already have the function in it (Condemned 2: Bloodshot). Some will get updates that will enable the use of the rumble in the new controllers. Not all though I'm sure. Bigger titles like COD4 probably will.

I dont remember what update addressed the vibrate function but i can tell you its been awhile . I have had my dualshock 3 controllers since christmas and they have worked great .

I have about 15 games - all of them work with rumble.. once you charged the controllers batteries it starts automatically - otherwise press the ps button and under controller settings you can activate it there

Go to Ebay. I just ordered mine and it was a total of $51.33 shipped. Thats actually $4 cheeper then when they are released here.
