Default Tell Konami you want PS3 DDR

According to DDRFreak, there's a survey going on right here: http://www.arcadefuture.com/af_survey_0002.html

I responded saying that yes there should be a PS3 DDR game, and it should have lossless PCM sound, hi-definition music videos, and long, healthy songlist. I also told them to stop choking out In the Groove.

Tell them the same things I did, please .

they could put an F-load of songs in PCM. That'd be sweet

OMG!

I love my DDR for Wii!

I am only on the training level and my feet are in agony from practicing for hours on a rubber maxie pad. I think that once I choke up the cash for a super maxie pad I will become a real pro. They cost alot, though.

Oh great.. people want another ddr... doesn't the ddr clones keep you happy, like rockband and guitar hero..

I would like to take the devils quote in arfenhouse *i hope I spelt that right* about ddr and I call it a night.

Okay now to reverse my statement and say I guess I understand that some people really like ddr, on that I guess I shall tip my hat and call it a day.

uhhh Rockband and Guitar hero are more so clones of Beatmania as far as im concerned. But moreso an evolution of the genre than a clone.

I have DDR for the Wii, and I love it. The only complaint I have is that I'm tired of the songs...would like some new ones. I would totally buy DDR for the PS3 if they offered downloadable content like that available for Rock Band.

uhh..... rockband is a clone of konami's guitar freaks and drummania.

iidx (beatmania as noobs call it) would be badass on ps3 and i'm sure it'll come out(in japan) which all the other mixes did for ps2(usa vers doesn't count).

As for ddr, everyone knows home versions don't count anyways, but I wouldn't mind it for ps3 I suppose. but I would need a way to plug in my cobalt flux.

Btw i've AAA-ed pretty much every song including some 10's

Instead of DDR, I'd rather Konami be working on PS3 exclusive versions of Zone of the Enders 3 and Castlevania!

someone please explain why these games are so popular? i see these people in the mall going nuts, with towels, waterbottles, and even their own little posse on these machines... problem is... nothing they are doing looks remotely like any sort of dancing i'm used to.

these simulated games (DDR, Guitar Hero, Rock Band) make me laugh... because the real thing is too hard to do for some folk.

I just filled out the survey, I basically said that they'd be stupid if they didn't come out with a game for the PS3. I told them to take advantage of the higher storage space of the BD and the PSN. I also told them that I wanted BT dancepads (or as some call them Maxie pads).

Take it for its worth its just a different tool with the same concept,
look they havent changed the mechanics very much they make it look different.

Whats funny is ddr, rockband and others are all featured as minigames on steambot chronicles.. in some way or fashion.

but regardless I shall live you to your works.

Real dancing or guitar playing has nothing to do with these games. It's like saying why play video games at all. You could be playing real basketball or football or hunt aliens and whatnot.

The point of ddr is rhythm. And just because someone is the shit at break dancing and can do a lot of hard moves doesn't make it any harder than ddr. Let's see a badass dancer AAA Fascination Maxx, etc.

Speaking of itg, I wish that game was still around. Itg 3 was gonna be badass. I 99ed about every expert song along with a few 100s

You should have seen me last night! I have been practicing a lot and now I use my feet to tamp on the maxie pad with a gentle flick. I score every time! I can't wait to order an industrial strength maxie pad so I can really pound on my rug. DDR is THE BEST!!!!

wow i havent played ddr like REALLY play in a good 5 months but i have gotten a chance to put the coin in the machines every now than then!! and it would be nice to see ddr on the ps3!! i would be playing my ps2 versions but stupid dance pads always messing up!! but if i did have a ps3 version i would consider investing in a metal pad and i can also imagine alot of like {ddr song} PACKS that would be for sale on the psn!! like ddr max pack!! but im assuming things like this would be like 30 - 20 buxx!!!

I play guitar in band. Never done any GTR Hero or Rockband. Ive been warned not to specially if you really know how to play.
However Ive tried DDR. And I love it! Its great for stamina and your heart. you really dont have to know how to dance. Im suprised they dont push DDR more to the US to offset their health issues.

30 - 20 buxx??? Try $2,029 for this iON Master Arcade Metal Dance Pad. It doesn't even light up! But it is 3.25 inches think and it comes with a stronger handle bar.

I'll vote for DDR on the PS3 right after I vote for a PS3 version of Parappa the Rappa.

Yes, I bought that game when it game out for the PS1.

Wow, I just found this LIVE song using Parappa:

http://www.joystiq.com/2006/01/25/pa...e-performance/

Check it out.
