Default Konami trademarking a New Suikoden title

http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/5374.html

Quote:
Role-playing fans will always smile at the mention of "Suikoden," as it usually brings back tons of pleasant memories from the PS1 and PS2 days.

The original was woefully underrated by critics - GameSpot should burn for that score - but RPG fans adored it, and each and every installment since then (with the exception of Suikoden IV) have really delivered for fans of the genre, which is why we're all kinds of excited about seeing Konami trademark a new Suikoden title. Personally, I've been waiting for a new entry in the franchise since Suikoden V; this series always gives us fantastic storylines, great characters, and a turn-based style of combat that just never got old. Of course, we get the feeling that if this new project is indeed for consoles, there's little chance it will be true turn-based, as that mechanic appears to be extinct. But we imagine the story should once again be well worth seeing, and remember, all previous iterations have been exclusive to the PlayStation brand. Granted, we're in a new generation now - one that is quick to kill off third-party exclusivity - but we'd like to believe Konami should know exactly where their supporting fans are...yeah, they're very likely on the PlayStation side of things. So don't forget about us!

But really, we just want Suikoden VI for next-gen consoles. Next to Final Fantasy, it's my favorite all-time RPG franchise and I had better get another awesome title! I'm not demanding or anything...

Good news soon ?
