I graduated from another audio school (with a degree in recording engineering) which shall not be named because they ended up being a very expensive diploma mill and I don't want to give them any publicity. They also have a habit of suing anyone who writes anything negative about them on the internet.

My advice is to stay away from students who don't take it as seriously as you do. Lots of kids go to audio schools to sit around and party, a much higher percentage than regular college (learned that the hard way)

If you like to party you should try putting it on hold while you are in school, plenty of time for that later and these programs don't last long.

Don't let being in a classroom setting for the first time in years keep you from asking questions during and after class.

Big console studio setups are going the way of the dinosaur and studio jobs are hard to find. Computer based recording is the present and the future.

Good luck!
