Logo useage - Blu-ray Forum

A couple of months ago I applied for and filled out the Blu Ray logo useage forms. My requerst was to use the logo on authored discs from DVDit PRO HD.
It was denied because they do not have a permissions contract for BD authors so I was told.
Firstly, whats the difference between someone who authors a title for a customer- paid professional author- and a authoring company that replicates BD for Hollywood titles? Why are we shunned?

Second- what kind of text or graphic should we use on the disc to display that it is a Blu Ray disc- and can we even call it a Blu Ray disc??
