Lightbulb Logo idea

I do not know the copyright laws or other laws retaining to logos, but I had an idea if it is something that can be allowed.

I made a new logo for the top bar that would better match the real Blu-ray logo.

I sampled everything in it from the real logo but I am not sure if this sort of thing would be allowed.
Either way, here is a JPEG file the same dimensions as the logo on the top of the screen and the same file size.
Hope you like it. I won't feel offended if there is indeed a reason we can't use it. I was just wasting time playing with Photoshop.

It looks great! But, this site has a color-scheme that goes along perfect with the forums. I personally like it the way it is, but yours is really cool!

Well maybe sometime I'll play with it and make the colors match the existing theme more.

Thanks for the feedback!

Did you know that Iceman and Marwin also own that site? I love what they've done with it!

Well here is a simple edit, which I will probably play with some more later to get a better result.

I will try to remove all the dark blue in another version but the blu logo has a dark outline that shows up too much in the lighter background.. I am going to try to fix that later....
