I was more interested in what Mossberg has to say at about 4:30 regarding broadband in the US. He may be overstating it a tad, but it confirms that digital downloads are still a ways off here in the US. 3G iPhone should make some consumers very happy now, though.

Meh, I think Apple & AT&T should skip 3G and go to 4G.

I just got mine a few weeks ago, but I only paid $250 for it from AT&T. If and when the 3G model comes out, I can probably sell mine for close to what I paid for it.

Did anyone notice that touch screen phones were uncool before Apple released the iPhone, and now everyone is totally ripping off Apple's concept.

i had a touchscreen phone long before the iphone

but i see what you're getting at. the funnier part is how all the phones will be better than the iphone, but it'll still get looked at as the "best", just like the over priced ipod's.

I had a touchscreen phone also, but the iPhone's multi-touch screen is far more advanced. The iPhone is by far the best phone on the market (if you have a jailbroken one like me

, it's 10x better) and will be for some time. iPods totally pwn the other MP3's on the market, except for the Archos, but it's also more expensive.

AT&T and friends haven't even completed there 3G HSDPA/UMTS technology rollout. GSM providers are more then a few steps behind to say the least...Heck CDMA RevA has been available for over 2 years

i wouldn't say its the best, but it has the potential if they just add a few things to it. i do love the iphone tho.

we'll have to disagree on the ipod tho

i can't wait to see all the competition its going to get this year

looks meh to me, any specs other than a complete rip of the iphone?

why would you hope other companies weren't rolling 4g out, because they are..i just posted 2 links saying so

If and when the 3G model comes out, I can probably sell mine for close to what I paid for it.
