Sorry, but you are wrong. This is NOT mentioned in the DVD or by anyone who knows anything true about Warrior. Jim Hellwig was a flake, plain and simple. I grew up loving the guy, too. He no-showed a lot, held Vince up for huge paydays, and was a sloppy worker. Just like his pit-stop in WCW proved, he was all about a quick payday and not about commitment to the company (WWF or anybody else). His legendary status is cemented for his match at WMVI with Hogan, but otherwise, the one and ONLY (despite other ill-informed reports of a second Warrior) Jim Hellwig just didn't have his heart in it. C'mon, the dude legally changed his name to WARRIOR WARRIOR, he ain't all there. Any doubters, feel free to check out wrestlingobserver.com or pwtorch.com to verify.

You toss someone like Flair, Kurt Angle, Benoit, Bret Hart or other greats in the ring, they can give you an hour match that will be great and full of drama

Hogan never had anything but the charisma. He has absolutely no imagination, and UW was too hopped up on steroids to even think straight.
Whoever told you he used to stand in for UW was lying, because if there had been a fake warrior, since the entire industry hates the Ultimate Fruitcake, SOMEONE would have outed him by now.

There is a new Ric Flair dvd set scheduled for release in early July called the Definitive Collection. The additional footage may be a part of this. I hope they will consider a Blu release.
Jim Ross touches on the new DVD in his latest blog, as well as Wrestlemania 24 on Blu; link below.

Well the past WrestleMania DVDs haven't really had that many extras. The first 2 discs was filled with the event, the battle royal and a couple build up videos, then the 3rd disc only for the Hall of Fame. With all of their content now in HD, it could very well be they may not be including much extras on this release either since JR says on his site that it will be all of the Hall of Fame ceremony.

I hope so. I attended the HOF last year, and was disappointed how they cut out some parts on the DVD.

seriously :
I hope there'll be 2 Blu-ray of special features, with retrospective of the Cena/Triple H/Orton feud (especially the Cena/Orton vs Raw), Marella/Maria war, Big Show/Mayweather feud, Hornswoggle+Finley vs MrMacMahon+JBL ...

less seriously :
I hope for a big (= long) report of Maria's Playboy shoot)!!!

So apparently if you have this in your collection, hang on to it. Apparently it's now way OPP and according to WWEDVDNEWS.com, the WWE has no plans of ever re-releasing it. Copies of WM 24 on Blu-Ray are selling on upwards of $200 on Amazon and eBay.

I bought my copy used from FYE for only $4.99 about 2 years ago!

Guess I made out like a bandit.

I don't try to use a user's location against them, but unless you got a all-region player, don't listen to him. WWE BD's overseas are handled much differently than they are in the US. Matter of fact, the Judgment Day 2002 and Vengeance 2002 DVD's overseas are not worth much but can easily go $50+ in the US on Ebay.

I NEED that Judgment Day 2002 DVD. *Austin voice: "I NEED that DVD."*

It's one of the better PPVs to hardly be seen in stores.

You know why it was hardly seen in stores? Because it was NEVER in a store! Like the Vengeance 2002 disc, it was a WWEShop Exclusive. In my opinion, Vengeance was a miles-better PPV that JD. The same Judgment Day that saw the worst chokeslam in the history of professional wrestling!

I heard there were disc issues, so they pulled them from retail stores immediately. Still, I think $50 for a legitimate DVD isn't terrible.

As for Vengeance 2002, I respectfully disagree that it was better than JD. Looking back at the match listing, the only match I remember standing out, and I still hold in my opinion as the best triple-threat match ever (next to WMXX), is the WWE Title triple-threat. Even HHH's "decision" was better than most of the matches.

Now, Judgment Day, on the other hand, had Hell in a Cell w/ HHH vs. Jericho, Hair vs Hair match, Hogan vs Taker for the WWE Title (choke slam DID suck, but the nostalgia during that match was great), Austin's last match prior to his walkout vs. Flair/Big Show, RVD vs. Guerrero, and even the Rikishi/Rico combination was entertaining. A solid PPV with a solid card, which is why I don't understand why WWE didn't just re-release it.

WTF! Why? This is the only Wrestlemania I need to add to my Blu-ray collection.

Judgment Day 2002 and Vengeance 2002 were always WWE Shop exclusives in the US at that time. It was only available retail-wide in Canada and UK.
