Default My Bloody Valentine 3D, Poor 3D?

guys

I recently bought a 3D tv(LG 55LM6200) and put it through some 3D paces ...cars 2, Texas Chainsaw 3D and I wanted to finally watch MBV 3D which I have had for a few years never been able to watch in 3D.
I put it in and its not viewable, there is blue lines outlining the image and the color is disorted, my question here is Im very comfortable in saying this is not my tv causing this issue is this just a bad 3D movie? I saw it in the theatre and it was very cool 3D.

When put on bluray did this just not transfer well?

This may seem like a very silly question but...are you sure you're using the right 3D version of My Bloody Valentine? It was released twice - once in magenta/green anaglyph that required magenta/green glasses, and then it was released in true blu-ray 3D which is what you want.

Anaglyph version - AVOID: (Note it says it includes glasses.)

http://www.amazon.com/My-Bloody-Valentine-Anaglyph-Blu-ray/dp/B001UIXYS6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1372827790&sr=8-3&keywords=my+bloody+valentine+blu

Correct true 3D version:

Note the sticker that says "blu-ray 3D". That's the correct one. I just bought that version last week and it looks fantastic on my 3D tv - just as good as it did in the theatre. Check to see which version you have. It sounds like you have the first release in magenta/green anaglyph.

Yeah pick up the true blu-ray 3D version. I just picked it up a few weeks ago and it's one of my best 3d titles.

There you go then. Yeah - the one you want is the second one I linked to labeled "blu-ray 3D". That's the one I got last week and the 3D is fantastic - just like I remembered it in the theatre. The price is great right now on Amazon too so go grab it!

Be careful if you plan to pick up "Journey to the Center of the Earth" in 3D - that same thing happened with that title, too. First it came out as magenta/green anaglyph, then later as true blu-ray 3D. That film was pretty silly but I saw that in the theatre too and the 3D was actually quite decent. My Bloody Valentine is better though.
