USA My Bloody Valentine 3D Blu-ray (2009) [Region Locked / Free]

BestBuy online now has the preorder up.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/My+Blood...tine&lp=1&cp=1

I went to my local Best Buy today and they had the new My Bloody Valentine Blu-ray 3d for sale. They had it for $34.99. Its not suppose to be out until Tuesday, but worth checking into if thinking about purchasing through Best Buy.

$34? It would need to be closer to $25 for me to even consider it.

They shouldn't be selling the old red and blue for that much. I'll stop into Best Buy after work tomorrow and check it out. Thanks for mentioning it.

I just printed out a rewards discount for it too. It will only cost me $15.00

Nope, the store by me didn't have it. Unless they had it somewhere other than with the the other versions. The old one was on sale for $12.99. though.

To get a rewards discount you have to go to Best Buy and ask for a reward zone card. Then when you buy stuff there, you use the card to get points. When you have enough points they send you an email telling you that you have a coupon ready to print out. Then you go to your reward zone account and print out your coupon.

The movie is supposed to be $34.99. That's about what all the 3D ones are going for when they are first released. I don't know if it's region free or not.

Got these in at work (best Buy) yesterday. They street on Tuesday for $34.99.
Digital Bits was given an incorrect price of $17.99 by Home Media magazine, who were also given an incorrect price. The correct price of My Bloody Valentine in 3D is $34.99, and the 2D version is $17.99.

Default My Bloody Valentine 3D

Not sure if I've put this in the right section. And please excuse me if this has already been discussed as I haven't searchd the forum. Just bought myself the PS3 3D display for xmas, (Which I'm completely in love with)...now, have owned My Bloody Valetine 3d for an age, watched the 2d a couple of times in the last year...now just went to watch it on the new display in 3D...it's pretty much unwatchable like that, or really hard to....not sure if this what you refer to ghosting, but everything has a very heavy green/red ghost to it...this is a problem for everybody i take it? The games on there look amazing...MBF was the only blu ray that I won that's 3d

Cheers

You are watching the red/blue anaglyph 3D. It is not the same type of 3D the modern TVs use. You have to get the official Blu-Ray 3D. If the packaging says it includes glasses, it is not the right kind of 3D. There are no changes to color on modern 3D blus.

Couple of questions before a valued answer can be given.

1) Is the movie anaglyph or shutter 3D glasses required?
2) Are you using a standard HD TV and if so, is it 1080p?
2) Are you using "shutter active" or "anaglyph" (two/colored) glasses?

If you could give more details about your equipment, it would be easier to determine what you will need in order to view the movie in better 3D.

I've heard of some attempting to view 3D with a 720p TV with lousy results and had difficulties in getting the 3D to work. Then I don't think there has ever been a perfect 3D movie played with anaglyph glasses. Everyone that I have watched with anaglyph glasses had some blurs somewhere during the playback.

Said he is using the new ps3 3D display. It is 1080p and most reviews say it is great for 3D blus. I think he's trying to play anaglyph.
