where to buy a new 80gb PS3?

Hi all,

Does anyone knows where to buy a new PS3 for a good price?

Is it a good time to buy a 80Gb one now or does anyone knows whether sony will be releasing any new models for the summer 2008?

Please let me know.

Or try kmarts/gamestops. every now and then theyll have a few, kmarts especially. Or if you have some mom and pop stores in the area try there.

Or wait til June and get the MGS4 package.

I keep telling people to check Sam's Club (maybe Costco too - don't know, don't have a membership with them). There is a Sam's about 15 minutes from my house that still has the 60gb bundle available for $550. The 60gb is the best one made so far - or maybe I should say the most 'complete' of the four different models made

if ps/2 compatibility isn't a criteria, I'd go with the 40GB model; its much quieter, and uses 1/3rd less power. Plus you save a few ****s.

hmm $520 for the MGS edition. Not bad....I do need another Blu-ray player for the other room. I'll have to see how hard these will be to get.

There's a coupon code for K-Mart which will give you 10% off until Saturday 4/19... I entered one for purchase and total price with tax/shipping was $388...

EDIT: Sorry, I just read you are looking for the 80GB... It's currently OOS but the 10% off still applies if it comes back by the 19th...

Check Blockbuster although the price probably won't be that great. It is $600 with Motorstorm, a movie, BD remote, HDMI cable, and rental booklet.

You might just wanna wait until June when the 80GB PS3 + DualShock 3 + MGS4 bundle comes out at US$499. In the meanwhile, prep up your sound system and collect BDs when they're on sale.
