Default sanyo plv-z2000 what screen/gain is best

just got this, upgraded from a z4 and want to get the best screen. I have a grey wolf screen, unsure of the gain, throwing the image about 15-16 feet in a room where I can control most of the ambient light. I do have 2 lamps set up on either side of the projector in the back of the room. Is the grey screen ok with this setup or should I go with a white one? Not really sure how the gai works but I think the higher the number the better quality screen. Any help is appriciated.

Jeff

gray screens were popular a few years back when contrast ratios were awful. Now days these new projectors offer 10000:1 so white is the standard. But screens are expensive so if you want stick with what you got or spend the bucks on a new screen thats up to you. I like the sanyo, I haven't seen this model yet and i'm a dealer. I liked the z4 though.

The Sanyo is not the brightest projector (I have one), so check how it goes with your existing grey screen before getting another. You might want white instead.

I use white and have no brightness issues in the Pure Cinema mode.

Depend on you're setup. me i have to you the ZOOM to 2.0x (Max) and lose 40% of lumens because of that. So i use a Da Lite High Power Screen, witch is just fine and brith enought even with 1 light on..
