Default Duck Dynasty Seasons 1-3 Blu-ray 12/03/13

Duck Dynasty: Season 1 Blu-ray

Duck Dynasty: Season 2 Blu-ray

Duck Dynasty: Season 3 Blu-ray

Duck Dynasty: Season 4 Blu-ray

Duck Dynasty: Seasons 1-3 Collector's Set Blu-ray

Duck Dynasty - Confirmed: Seasons 1-3 coming to BD (and DVD) on December 3

Keep the camo-clad Robertsons in your sights at all times with this DUCK DYNASTY gift set from A&E. With these down-home millionaires from Louisiana, there's always somebody up to something that you can rest assured somebody else isn't going to like. See what happens when Willie hosts his own radio show, but makes the mistake of bringing Uncle Si on the air with him. Watch how his employee retreat fails to build trust among the Duck Commander team. And you'll want to catch Jase's plans to prevent Missy from finding out he's lost his second, newly replaced wedding ring. But the Robertsons never back down from a challenge, always taking on new adventures. Whether it's a family cooking, fishing or football competition; a blind leap into winemaking; a spontaneous road trip in the RV; or their run-ins with critters of all kinds, this clan makes the most of their funny business. And now you can, too. But please, don't fight over who gets to wear the enclosed DUCK DYNASTY bandana!
Last week we had news that "I'm Dreaming of a Redneck Christmas" would be hitting DVD in November, but in that news item was a rumor that we'd see a release of Seasons 1-3 on Blu-ray, as well as DVD. Well, it's no longer a rumor, as A&E and distributor Lionsgate have sent notification to retailers to expect both sets on December 3.
The Blu-ray set ($49.99 SRP) contains 6 discs, with Widescreen video and English 2.0 DTS Master Audio, while the 8 disc DVD set ($49.98 SRP) includes Widescreen video (we assume it's Anamorphic) with English 2.0 Dolby Digital Audio. Both sets run for 954 minutes, and include 70 minutes of bonus footage from existing seasons, plus never-before-seen special features! Also included is a limited-edition, exclusive Duck Camo Bandana!

Still haven't seen this show. But, I am amazed how well it is being branded. In the last few weeks at Wal Mart, I've noticed DD dvds, books, shirts, posters, hats, boxers, birthday cards, bandaids, etc. And there was probably way more stuff, too.

Great news indeed.

HILARIOUS show. They broke the mold when they made Uncle Cy! My wife & kids are hooked.

That said, I'll probably wait til it hits $29.99 before I bite.

It's getting a little out of control, in my opinion. I know it's a popular show, but good Lord. They had a whole corner of the store at my Wal-mart, loaded with this crap. It's amazing how nuts some people go for scripted "Reality TV".

I have a funny little story to tell about this show.

Last week me and my mom were at Walmart and she was looking at the shirts in the mens section and see shirts for this show.

She asks me do you watch this show? And I go I don't know anyone who watches this show. Then suddenly this old man out of nowhere next to us says I watch it. And moves away from us.

My and my mom couldn't help but crack up at this. We've been saying that all week.

Duck Dynasty isn't scripted, but it's not truly without direction either. Duck Dynasty is made similarly to the way the earlier Our Gang/Little Rascals shorts (silent era) were made -- the director had a story to tell in each short and certain points had to be reached in telling the story, but he let the kids have fun playing otherwise undirected in telling that story.

In essence, DD is pretty much like actors ad-libbing their way through a scene in a movie.

I'd be shocked if directors and producers weren't on the scene telling them where they should be filming and what they should be doing for most of the time.

Actually, the show is scripted. Many have been pointing out inconsistencies in each episode and I'm shocked at these bumbling rednecks and how gullible American consumers are. These guys are self made millionaires, they've marketed the hell out of their show and their merchandising rights are through the roof. Their show is the number one show on cable television and it's funny how they have scheduled Duck Dynasty seasons when NCIS isn't broadcasting new episodes.

LOLS

NCIS is also one of the top TV shows on network television, as well.

I think this show will die out within another year or two... Just like Pogs or Silly Bandz, these are the days of our lives.... outrageous consumerism.

Totally not cool. They just released Season 3 onto DVD last month with no sign of any Blu-rays to come, even when asked by fans.
And what happened with Season 2 volume 2 - which strangely became season 3 instead.

The DVD of season 2 vol. 1 IS the entire season. Don't know why they called it that, but we're not missing any episodes.
