The Brits have really perfected the period mystery, and "Foyle's War" is the best of the best.

Any word on whether the previous seasons will be released on Blu-ray as well in the U.S.? A complete Blu-ray set has been released in Australia, as discussed here before:

Nothing so far. I suspect Acorn is testing the waters with Set 7 of Foyle. If interest is sufficient, they may look at the earlier seasons.

Right now, their main focus seems to be finishing the Poirot series.

Foyle's war 1-7 blu ray collection is on sale at australian site for 68.78$ (australian dollar). Price looks great, can someone confirm the region coding for this set before I buy it? I am from US.

So it seems 'Foyle's War' is dead; again.
itv and Anthony Horowitz announced yesterday that the episode to be broadcast this Sunday evening will be the final one.
A damn shame.
Greatly anticipating the final Blu-Ray set in May.

I'm hoping that we will get Set 6 on blu-ray too one day, which is where I believe the series started being recorded at 1080i50.

I see on Amazon, Deep Discount, and eBay a strange gap in price of the Foyle's War DVD set sold by the retailer themselves vs. individual sellers. Is this a sign of bootlegs? I would love to spend ~50-$60 to get Foyle's War over over $100, but I'm afraid it's a bootleg. Anyone have advice on this? Thanks!
