It's a good album, if anyone was curious.

Is that with all 3D blu ray sets? Thanks for the info. Good to hear there is a free album Mp3. As with Avengers 3D from Amazon.

Thanks. I'll take a look, though my Walmart's don't support 3D much at all, so I'd be surprised. 24.99 is the best price I've seen and what it should've been for all big stores.

Best Buy in store ad wants 31.99.

This ad is probably wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if Walmart does not honor that price. How often do they sell the Blu+DVD+DC at the same price as Blu+DVD? That doesn't even make sense.

That Wal*Mart deal of $25 is making the 3D set VERY tempting. However, I know Pacific Rim 3D comes out next month, and I had my eyes set on that. I think I will just redbox Iron Man, and that will tide me over till X-Mas and I'll just ask for IM3 then. I thought the movie was great (a whole lot better than IM2), but still fell short of the original IM.

I was wondering about that too. I see Marvel and Paramount on the unboxing video, but no Disney, even though they are distributing Iron Man 3 just like they distributed The Avengers.

According to the Disney Wiki:

Following the release of Iron Man 2, a conflict between Paramount Pictures, which had distribution rights to certain Marvel properties, and The Walt Disney Company, Marvel Entertainment's new corporate parent, clouded the timing and the distribution arrangement of a possible third film. On October 18, 2010, Walt Disney Studios agreed to pay Paramount at least $115 million for the worldwide distribution rights to Iron Man 3 and The Avengers. Disney, Marvel, and Paramount announced a May 3, 2013 release date for Iron Man 3.

Now, I'm thinking it doesn't matter as long as they scan the coupon and it works. This can't be something they rely on checkout clerks to figure out.

Thumbs down Overpriced 3D movie at 31.99$ on release week

I remember getting Avengers 3D for 19.99 on release week, so seeing Iron Man 3 3D for 31.99 as the lowest available price on release week is a sign of Disney's likely greed if they set the wholesale price too high, forcing the stores to raise their prices way above the normal 24.99 - 27.99 retail for a new blu ray 3D Movie set.

walmart.com doesn't even list the 3D blu ray. Target wants it for 35.99.

I enjoyed Iron Man 3 and the 3D, but will hold off on this high priced 3D title till it hits the $20's...

The only exception is Best Buy is offering a $10 gift card with any movie purchases $50 and over in store.

This would be 31.99 there, then add a 19.99 blu ray 3D movie if possible. 51.98, then to 41.98 if you consider the gift card for another visit. Depends on the 19.99 purchase available at the store.

I am going to go to walmart and use the$3 DMR coupon. Walmart is pretty good at honoring those coupons.

I would be prepared to pay exactly what they have posted now, because the ad doesn't look legit:

I didn't see that deal in the weekly ad. I saw one that requires buying 3 TV titles 14.99 or higher, but it says online only.

While it is odd that the digital copy release is the same price as the one without it, the ad is legit. I have it and so do many others.

The ad is legit, I got it with my Sunday paper. And Parade is nationally distributed as far as I know, so it should be honored just about everywhere.

Does your Walmart actually put the new releases out that early? I've never seen them do that anywhere in Houston...

Got to the electronics department at exactly 12:37 am and they had IM3 3D on the shelf. $36.96!!!! This was the sticker price!! They wanted $29.96 for the 2D blu ray and DVD pack!!! NEVER paid this much for a single release in its first week of release!! Have to say, WTF DISNEY!! First, you screw us consumers on Oz The Great And Powerful by not including the 2D blu with the 3D blu. Now..you INFLATE the retail price for Iron Man 3 and offer nothing extra (steelbook, exclusive extras, exclusive cover, etc....) to help justify the outrageous price!!! You made bank already with the theatrical release...thanks to us consumers who bought the tickets. You couldn't cut us a deal or give us a break on the price of the home release?? Not only that, you have the 3D disc stacked on top of the DVD!!

Very anti consumer Disney!!

I went to my Walmart at around 1am and the girl was just starting to open boxes. I asked her if there was an ad running for Iron Man and she looked at me like I was on drugs. No, not at all. On top of that, she had some unwritten rule about putting out all the "old" movies first, so she wasn't about to upset her routine to get the Iron Man boxes open for a customer.

I went to breakfast at iHop to kill some time, and when I got back (about 2am) she had a few of the Iron Man boxes on display (in clam shells) so I grabbed a 3D version and took it to the scanner to see if maybe it rang up at a different price than the 36.96 that was listed on the shelf. Nope, it was 40.01 with tax. Ouch. The 3.00 coupon isn't going to take the sting out of that price.

I asked the store employee if it was possible that there was a sale in a different state that doesn't apply here in Texas, and she said yes, so that's the only possible explanation I can come up with. I guess I'm going to have to wait for a price drop on that one.

I went ahead and grabbed the Anniversary Digibook of Halloween while I was there because they were cheaper than BB (19.96) and they were so large they wouldn't fit into the clam shells where they could get damaged like the rest of the movies she put out.
