Default Please help with Blu-Ray

Hello All

I am having trouble with my Blu Ray
My set up is
Digital Storm Computer
Q6600 2.40 Ghz
8800 GTX Nvidia Geforce
4 Gig Ram Corsair Domnator
32 inch Sharp Aquos Tv With overscane utility
I believe my Blu Ray player is a Lite On BD B LH-2B1S
All drivers and firmware up to date As far as know
Digital Storm put player in they have no clue

When I try to play Blu Ray with Cyberlink Ultra Power DVD I get this massage

“ Fail to enable HDCP Please switch to analog Output {VGA Dsub} and try again
Error code =0107 please run the BD/HD advisor tool for more information”

I ran the advisor and got this
All was ok except “video connection type digital with out HDCP”
I order a HDCP cable from New Egg and got same result

So I bought Arcsoft Total media theater
It says
“ the system is not compatible with HDCP BD playback is disabled

Thank You All Chris

Maybe your monitor is not HDCP compatible.

If your tv isn't HDCP capable then try anydvd hd from Slysoft - there is a trial available.

i had this error for some reason with my setup. i knew it was bogus. to get around it i left everything on and disconnected the dvi cable till i heard a tone. then reconnected it. if it didnt work then i did the same with the other end. this always worked for me.

Have a look in slysofts forums - they are a very helpful bunch when it comes to compatibility. They may be able to help with the overscan utility problem.

It's your cable - Your DVI is connected via a DVI-A cable (analog) that's why HDCP is having fits. Get a DVI-I or DVI-D (the D version will pass only digital signals the I will pass both - if the D doesn't fit your Aquaos , is only an analog DVI).
