Trade my SA Blu-ray player for a PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

I would like to trade/exchange my Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray player for a PS3, but I have no idea where or if this is even possible. Any ideas? I original purchased this item from Sonystyle.com with Warranty. I'd rather have a gaming system than a Stand-Alone (SA). Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You may have some luck posting in the trade section here. I don't think anyone will trade you staight up for it. You would probably have better luck selling it then buying a PS3.

BTW, I see your from Landsdale. I'm about 15min from you in Sellersville.

put it up on ebay. You should be able to recoup maybe $200 - $300?

...thats what I would do. Or put it up for sale in the buy/sell/trade forum.

Try craigslist before ebay, it is free & there are no fees when you sell it & always take cash.

Craigslist (free and local)......Ebay......also I've had great luck with Audiogon and Videogon.....they do charge $6.00 per listing for a 30 day period. I just sold an Infinity IL25c center channel speaker through them after no luck on Craigslist.

Audiogon attracts Audio and Videophiles.

Try to find somebody who also has an xbox 360 and uses there ps3 for Blu-ray only. Theres a few people like that. For a long time the Ps3 was the cheaoest Blu-ray player. Good luck.

I just sold my S300 on a local forum where I live. Made $225 from it. Took a few days but it worked out in the end.

Good to hear this. I am sure you would be very happy with your new PS3. It has faster loading times and it evolves with the technology.
