I know...I only found this thread by accident, I've been waiting for a blu-ray for years and definitely worth the wait, even sweeter knowing that Criterion is doing it to boot!..... And the cover artwork is awesome

Was it because I bumped it?

This is an amazing movie and I can't wait for the Criterion release. I just sold my old Paramount DVD last week in preparation. My wife had to talk to me into selling now instead of later before its value dropped even more. I hope I don't get a craving for watching it between now and then!

Anyone else notice that the Blu ray is out of sync. I'm not sure about the whole film but I was checking out certain scenes last night and noticed Blakely's performance of The Cowboy Song was way off. Same with I'm easy. The DVD is fine. I sent an e-mail to Mulvaney to address the issue. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed or from some reason it is a isolated case.

It's funny you mentioned this, as I finally got to my Netflix copy on Sunday. The audio is out of sync for a few minutes. I adjusted my receiver for it while it was happening, then it was fine.

So do you think that is all I have to do? It does not appear to be the whole film. But sadly during what I consider some of the best singing moments in the film.

I didn't notice any sync issues as I watched the blu last week. Maybe others will chime in soon.

Could there be a chance I received a bad disc out the batch? I contacted Criterion to inquire about exchanging the disc for a new one. There is definitely an issue with my copy and I do not think adjusting audio will help.

I'd wait to hear back from Criterion just in case. I might not have been paying as close attention to it as I thought I was.

I just checked "I'm Easy" on my copy and it was perfectly in sync. Maybe it's a player specific issue. I have a Panasonic.

It is really odd, the first half of the film seems fine, then it just gets bad and stays bad until the end. I'll try another player but my Sony does not seem to have issues otherwise.

I'm going to wait to see what Criterion says. Could be that I just recieved a bad disc.

Both I'm Easy and Tapedeck In His Tractor appear perfectly in sync in my cheap Philips player....In my Sony portable 'Tapedeck' is slightly off, nothing terrible but still noticeable, I'm Easy is still perfect
