Victoria Secret re-highers Kate Upton after controversy

After firing Kate Upton Victoria Secret uses an old 2011 photo an re-highers Kate Upton snafu. In February 2012, Neophitou, who also helps to cast the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show lineup, infamously declared they "would never use" Upton in the show because she was "too obvious." But Neophitou didn't stop there. She also said, "She's like a Page 3 girl," referring to the scantily clad women featured in the London tabloid The Sun. "She's like a footballer's wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy."

Firing Kate Upton as a Victoria's Secret model is possibly the stupidest decision they have made in terms of a model. I have read articles calling her fat, I've seen her stats she's 5'10 140lbs, to put that in perspective I'm 5'7 145-150lbs. She isn't the typical Victoria's Secret model, but probably most of the women who wear their lingerie arn't the measurements of Miranda Kerr or Gisele Bundchen. If one of there models are pregnant they should be in the Christmas fashion show I think pregnant women can be extremely sexy.

The problm actally is that media has an unrealistic standard for beauty. I hate to generalise but I will do so anyway, a lot of us probably have an unrealistic standard too because that's all we see on TV and in print ads.

I know it is an older story I believe the article I referenced was put out some time in May. I am sure when this comes controversy will help her even more when this comes around the time of the Victoria's Secret, Christmas fashion show.
