Default Buying Used Blus at Amazon

Has anyone boughten any used blus from Amazon?, Im just wonderin how it works, since they are from individuals, if I order multiple blus , do I get them all at once, or do the individuals just send them out them selves, so you get them at varyin times? Any problems with dirty or scratched discs?

basically it's amazon's version of half.com. Individual user ship out on their own time with their own shipping charges.

I'd rather pay the extra $2-3 on a new Blu-Ray than a used one from an outside sellar. Usually i have no problem with these kind of purchases and for the most part the DVD is delivered as advertised. But in some cases you'll always end up with a thud especially with my last order. I ordered a New copy of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End for $16... but when i received the dvd, the case was cracked inside. The disc's looked fine but i'm out of a case with this purchase.

I got Hairspray from an Amazon member for $15--new--when Amazon itself was selling it for $27.95.

I've bought a few other used items, and have no complaints. Amazon is better than ebay for punishing people who don't fulfill their end of the deal properly.

I use the third party sellers all the time, esp if there's a good bargain. Have not been ripped off on a blu as of yet. They each send the orders out seperately.

Forgot to mention, "boughten" isn't a word. Just use "bought" or "purchased"! Couldn't resist.

it's like Half.com in the fact that as long as you only deal with people with mostly positive feedback, from a good sample set (100 sales or so) you should be alright.

Well that is true but here is exactly what happens sometimes. If I order 5 blu rays from the same vendor you are going to have to pay 2-3 dollars for shipping per blu ray you buy so each one you buy you pay a shipping charge on. A vendor can potentially send them all to you at once, to save himself money but you will still be paying a few dollars shipping for every item you buy. I hope that clears it up

I've ordered a few and, touch wood, have never had a problem with the condition or the shipping times. If you shoot for the folks with a 98% or above rating, you will be ok.

Out of interest, someone currently has a new copy of Ocean's Thirteen for $0.99 on there.
