okay, so what's your favourite advert? [of all time or current]

mine has got the be the snickers advert with mr T;
"QUIT yo jibber jabber, you ain't HURT!" lol
and for all you non-UK folk i've even added a link so go take a look and tell me it's not funny

Some of the old guinness adverts were pure class!
As for at the moment.. I like the Strongbow advert

as for "this is life" the adverts were alright but call me a ditz; they didn't have anything to DO with the ps3! like car ads... and current mobile phone ads [UK] *shudder*

as for "guiness" i LIKE! ^_^

This was one of my favorites a while ago.

This was another one of my favorites (there is foul language involved).

I just found this one. It made me laugh.

Then there's the old school MasterCard banned advert.

I'm getting carried away with this. Last one...IKEA advert!

I have to say the advert for the VW Golf entitled The Original, Updated.

It's basically the Gene Kelly dance routine from 'Singin' in the Rain' but put to a remix of the same song by Mint Royale. They've edited Gene Kelly's dance routine to incorporate modern moves.

It's super smooth and very clever.

However, so is the more recent Golf ad with The Great Pretender, cunningly written with a serious undertone of consumerism for all the wrong reasons.

They've some clever people working on the marketing side over at VW.
