Default BD-live questions

Can someone answer a few questions about the new Profile 2.0?
Is the 1G of local storage of extra content a minimum, or also a maximum? Can the additional content be archived locally? from multiple titles? 1G is not very much (particularly if the extras are in HD), or is this intended only to act as a buffer for downloading? Any clarification, additional information would be appreciated. Thanks.

1GB is the minimum storage required to be available, though it may take the form of end user supplied SD cards. Yes it is saved to the SD card, any non-saveable stuff is buffered in player RAM
