Hey, I finally got my bluray player connected to the internet and I was checking out the disney bluray live extras and at first it seems cool but then it was just boring because everything is comming soon...
- Does anyone know when the network will be FULLY up and running? - Is there a way to save my info so I don't have to type out my e-mail everytime to log in (I have a very long e-mail and it is annoying using the remote) -I tried to send myself a message and it didn't work. Is it possible? - It did not have my Disney Movie Rewards points. How do I sync the two accounts and also Can I earn points for the actual stuff or is it only to spend the points on stupid avatars and stuff like that? Are other studios Blu Live networks the same way? I think it takes too long to do anything and there is nothing to do. What are your thoughts on the Disney network? |

I remember when I set mine up it was confusing how they wanted you to do it. You can have multiple accounts so I'd try to set up a 2nd account using your current DMR account info. I think the only difference between online and BD Live is that on the BD Live version they will have avatars, exclusive videos, etc. Some stuff will be free and they'll probably charge for some stuff. Are other studios Blu Live networks the same way? I think it takes too long to do anything and there is nothing to do. What are your thoughts on the Disney network? Considering how promising they seem to believe this is it's shocking how lame it is at the moment. I check every now & then and nothing ever seems to change. I singed up the day SB came out and they still haven't approved my username, I'm still just GuestXXXX ![]() |

The Movie Rewards Points doesn't seem to be working. You still have to put them in on the rewards website.
Prince Caspian has like 12 720p featurettes on BD-Live. They're well made, although they look pretty much like good 480p. Also I think all Disney BD-Live discs have a movie trivia game that you can compete in online. I don't remember how I set it up by my email is saved and I only have to type in my password. Word to the wise, Disney BD-Live utilizes a keyboard on the PS3. |

When I got Sleeping Beauty, I was able to put in all my Disney rewards points via the disc's BD Live. But now the points only show up if I have the SB disc in the player. For example, when I have Caspian in my player and log onto BD Live through its interface, it shows I have 0 reward points. I tried to redeem my reward code on the Caspian disc but it wouldn't go through and kept saying it wasn't a valid code. When I put the SB disc in and logged onto Live, the points fom Caspian had been added afterall. It's all very strange and messed up. Since I first redeemed points on the SB disc I guess it'll be the only one that will show my reward point total.

Everything shoudl still show on the actual website www.disneymovierewards.com.
I don't think Disney BD-Live even allows you to redeem your points. Disney BD-Live is by far the prettiest BD-Live interface, but it needs a lot of work. Registration is way too big a PITA and too many areas are "coming soon". |

I tried to access BD Live on my "Wall E" disc, and it said the BD live network wasn't available in my area. Since I'm in LA, I found that a bit strange. Anyone had this happen?
Thanks. |

So far, I haven't been too impressed with it either.
Aside from all the registration problems you guys all mentioned, you can only chat with people you already know. Well, I don't know anyone, personally, that owns a Blu-ray player. Is there a thread around here where everyone can post their Disney BD-Live user name? The search function hasn't revealed such a thread. |
