Default Best Indy Movie.

Yes, another Indiana Jones thread, but I feel that this one is important for Indy fans. Basicly, I'm not a big Indy fan (even though I saw the new one over the weekend), so I can't really make the decision, which means, like I said in my South Park vs Family Guy poll, its up to you.

The first one, Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's a no-brainer question.

The Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade loved the chemistry between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery.

Raiders, set the bar high, Temple was a few steps back but then Last Crusade came up almost as high as Raiders, haven't seen the new one yet but based on what I've got it's Raiders all the way.

Raiders was gritty, action packed, and gave us Marion. However, my vote goes wholeheartedly to Last crusade. So much fun, so much chemistry, I could watch it a million times.

I voted for Raiders. Easy. Last Crusade next with Kingdom and Doom together. My problem with Doom was the unfinished looking special effects. From the raft ride (from the plane, down the mountain and then the waterfall) to the coaster ride and the water rushing down the tunnels and out the mountain and the robot thuggees on the bridge explosion and how badly the falling ones blended into the scene they were pasted onto. It had nothing to do with the acting. I had a lot of the same feelings about the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls. Still loved all of them, was just disappointed by some aspects.(probably due to expectations).

You can read my thoughts on Kingdom in the Kingdom review thread.

I would say that every Indiana Jones movie, including "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", are all really good, but I did not hesitate when choosing "Raiders of the Lost Ark" as the best Indiana Jones movie ever, bar none! "Raiders" was definitely at a time when Harrison Ford has well established himself as an action star in Hollywood, and only a few years after Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back! And the powers that be behind the film, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, were - without a doubt - forces to be reckoned with!!

P.S. Plus, Karen Allen was pretty hot in the movie!!

You can either way with the Raiders of the Lost Ark & The Last Crusade...but in the end Raiders gets a slight edge. But Crusade did have a classic scene...
