Kino just continues to impress. If they are still announcing August I could only imagine what the rest of the year will be like.

I have never seen this one. I have always wanted to but people kept just telling me it was pretty poor. But I mean, Huston, Lancaster, Hepburn...that is worth it right there.

It's one of my top westerns.

What you noted about the cast + Audie Murphy gets a chance to be more than just a baby-face cowboy for a change and it has a haunting Dimitri Tiomkin score. Pretty unique action sequence at the end too.

It's really a shame that Kino is another company that doesn't consistently put subtitles on their releases. I usually ignore the companies that do that, but I may have to make an exception for this one. It's hard to pass up an Audrey Hepburn movie on Blu-ray.

Oh my god yes! Another Audrey Hepburn film on Blu-ray! And wow Kino stepping it up! I was just in the Favorite Audrey Hepburn Film thread today thinking about other movies of hers that need to make it to the format here in the U.S. Never seen The Unforgiven but will surely make a blind purchase. This is great news, hopefully this means more of her movies are on the way.

I am curious and have to ask. Is that poster false advertising or will I actually get to see Audrey wield a gun in this movie? It is an enticing novelty.

I received mine and as far as I am aware, it doesn't come with a suitcase.
