So happy to see Rolling Stone announced today that Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young are finally ready to release a box set of live recordings from their 1974 reunion tour.

Thanks for the heads up! I knew the CD set was coming out but didn't realize they were also doing a BD audio disc. I'll definitely grab this.

Wish they could have mastered the extra video in HD and included it on the BD (instead of DVD) but I'll happily take the 40 live songs in hi-rez audio.

No kidding!?! Wow! Thanks OP! I attended a concert from that tour at Milwaukee County Stadium ... July 21st ...the first noteworthy concert I ever went to. I was 18. Jesse Colin Young and The Beach Boys were a couple of the opening acts (... not sure if there were more). I remember a very hot, sunny day in the stadium and believe it or not, the crowd really rocked out to The Beach Boys before CSNY took the stage. Ah, the good old days!

they went to St Paul, MN the next day(Monday)...that was around the time the Beach Boys were doing the fairy tale stuff with Magic Transistor Radio and The Pied Piper

3 discs is the CD option.
The Blu ray / DVD is 2 discs, with all 40 songs on the Blu ray in glorious 24 /192 PCM stereo.

Thank you ! I added all 400 of my titles to my collection, and that's when it became apparent it was missing.

Sure are a lot of titles, and new releases for a " dying " format. (sarcasm for the naysayers)

You have " CD " listed as the second disc, it's actually a DVD, with video content.

The BD audio is Spectacular! keeping in mind it was recorded live 40 years ago.
The dvd don't get to excited about it. It's from a live feed used at the concert
for video projection, first time it was tried. Later parts were shot for possible release but never were. Picture quality is vhs quality at best. But my god to see Neil Young and Stephen Stills jamming and not fighting is awesome!

cowgirl in the sand
down by the river
losing end
on the weekend
ambulance blues

they were all played on the tour.
