What Should I.W. Do For It's Next Call Of Duty - Blu-ray Forum

As you may have heard COD4 has broke the 10 million copy mark, And next at bat is Treyarch. As for myself I only really play Infinity Ward's installments. Do you guys think Infinity Ward should go back to the world war or stay on it's current path. I personaly think they should just make a spin off: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

They will be doing Call of Duty 6. I would like to see the semi-auto tactical shotgun available for the M4 Carbine. That would blow my mind. Also a customizable multiplayer character. The story could be very similar with minor tweaks since. I trust COD6, COD5 however I am leary about.

exactly. I would like to see a double attachment perk. like silencer and ACOG scope. that would be sweeeeeeet

The best sniper map/game is Domination on crash. Sit in the balcony over looking "A", you can see most of the level easy. That map is the only reason I play Domination.

I was thinking about Call of Duty 5: Dark Warfare. It would take place in the 1400's. You could use a bow and arrow and put a red dot or ACOG on in. Your side are would be a sling shot. The melee would be a broad sword. With a 5 kill streak there would be a catapult launch . With 7 kills there would be a Dragon over head.

There are no "suckers" in COD, just noobs. By the way if you really want to noob attack somebody, make a class with the M16A4 with grenade launcher. Perk 2 Sonic Boom Perk3 Martrydom. Love it!!! OverKill with two Assault rifles with grenade launchers is also a lot of fun.

OMG, i freakin hate the Martrydom perk. thats something they need to remove from the next one

I.W. should get their act together for their next Call of Duty and at least implement rumble. Their excuse for not patching COD4 because of coding difficulty is lame. Though RFOM and a number of other PS3 games have been patched for the Dualshock 3. Definitely see their MS bias too..

That said, I love COD4. Too bad Treyarch is making 5. Here's hoping for a good part 6 by I.W.

^ Rumble is your biggest complaint. That must mean that the game is pretty darn near perfect otherwise. Get rumble out of there, that is why I have a 5.1 surround sound with a meaty subwoofer. I want my couch to shake, not my controller.

+1. plus trying to get your sniper aim straight might be a little hard while the controller is shaking.

Yes, I think the game's very good. Enough to actually stand out from other FPS games I've played in a long time. But the fact remains, I.W. is lazy, especially considering we all paid for their game.

Nice that you have a good sound system. If I had more room and money, I'd get one too. But I'd still want my controller to shake as well, not just my ass. And yes, it would be hard to snipe with a rifle that has simulated recoil through rumble. But I'm all for it. The point is, option for vibration should be there, toggled on or off by the player's choice.

There are other things that can be improved. We'll hopefully see that in part 6.

I read where Treyarch said they were excited about COD5 because the main reason why they think they can do so much better now is they have been allowed to have control of the engine that IW built that works behind COD4 ...

So im a lil intrested to see if they can make it a decent game this time.

But ofcourse, COD6 will own.

they needa bring out more maps for COD4 .. yes, more, again.

They make way too much money off of it for it not to seem logical. They already sold 1 million map packs. That's 10 million bucks right there... and selling 10 million copies is practically like 600 million, sure there is overhead but you know damn well they came out of that like KINGS...

MORE MAPS!!!! ATLEAST IMPORT MORE LIKE U DID WHEN RIPPING US OFF WITH CHINATOWN!! (A Map from COD2 from 360 ..only "china themed")
