I like conformity and don't want odd boxes etc in my collection. Example, the Harry Potter disks, I prefer having them individually boxed then the mini suitcase with sleeves for the Blu-Rays. The only exception I have for this is if it is an extra special movie to me at least. Thus, I'd go with just the regular edition of this.

Dude, i'm 100% with you. I ordered the gift set the first day it was up on amazon

Why not? Everyone moans that they've been waiting for it for so long then they complain cause one day they'll have to "double dip". F**k it get the best and enjoy it. Thats how life is supposed to be!

Don't forget it's up to a $7.50 USD value not neccessarily a free movie ticket, unless your market has tickets that low.

Yeah, that's only half the price of an IMAX ticket.

Just the movie at $13,95 through Warner Bros. online store. I think the giftset is just a collection of crap that I would look at once.

You might as well get the gift set. Its the price of a normal blu ray. And even if it only gets you half off a movie ticket, thats more than nothing.

Also if you want to be picky, you might as well waiting for the boxset with all three batman movies on there, that wont be for another 3 years.

In my area it is. I live in Ohio and that is pretty much the value of a movie ticket in my area.

Don't have an IMAX near me that I know of so I have to see it in a normal theater regardless.

Will the Blu Ray have extras the 2 disk DVD had? I would have to say yes because it is a 50 gig release. I loved the movie but I have no interest in the gift set because it's $ 20 more or something, damn, for that price I can pick up another Blu Ray.

I don't have to worry about that. I keep all my Batman movies and TV series on a seperate rack.
