Just upgraded 2 hi-def reciever

I purchased a pioneer vsx-91txh at vanns, did a whole revamp with new center and side speakers , I feel like im in hte big leagues now, got it hooked up and Amazing, true hd, never had it before, all i had was dts, its not listed on the manual anywhere but im sure this will do lossless audio and pcm right?

Indeed, if your player supports it, it will provide you with all types of lossless audio.

unfortunately the BDP-S300 does not have support for Dts-HD MA.

...nice choice for receiver though.

Unfortunately not. My dad has this player and i've been keeping him up to date on his firmware updates(current 3.90). It has been said that the
S300/301 doesn't have the internal capabilities to play TrueHD or DTS MA, even if a firmware update in the future was made ready. I'm not sure though...

well, the PS3 was updated with a firmware capable of Dts-HD MA, but i think it was able to because of the cell processor inside.

Not sure of the S300 being able too, but chances are no.
