Brian De Palma's "F-Bomb You!" trilogy of thrillers where he deliberately over-exaggerates all of his stylistic and storytelling flourishes just to piss off his biggest detractors.

Films are also linked by a dreamlike, narratively-jumbled style. Releases one roughly a decade apart, starting with Body Double in 1984, continuing with Raising Cain in 1992, and concluding with Femme Fatale in 2002 (and one could consider 2013's Passion a fourth entry in the cycle).

Jorodowsky's "Psycho-magic"(??) trilogy: El Topo, The Holy Mountain and Santa Sangre.

I think that the entire filmography of Wes Anderson's a excellent saga.
