Default Help, my picture is rolling on Lego SW

Hey all,

I know it's kind of an old game now, but I just got Lego Star Wars for PS3. Anyway, I noticed right away that the picture tends to "roll" when a lot is happening on the screen. Is that normal? Is it my settings? I have my PS3it set to output at 720p (my TV's highest res). Will the games automatically go with my highest settings?

Thanks for the help.

It's called TEARING - as in to rip, not to cry. It has been there since the game was in the PS2/PC form. Others have also noted tearing in Lego Indy.

Is there any way to fix it. It's really annoying. It kind of makes me sick.

Go into options and see if there's a setting for Screen V-Sync. Turn it to on, if it's there. They have the option in Indy and it fixed the tearing.

I'll do that, thanks. Does anyone know if that option is there?

So am I pretty much stuck with the tearing or is there something I can do? I should add that I have Samsung DLP (HLP model), 720p. Could that be the problem?

Nope. The tearing is there because of the coding. I have Lego SW and there is no Screen V-Sync option.

I'm asking Lukas Arts for a refund, then. This is insane. It makes me sick to my stomach in about 5 minutes.
